Best Apple Service Experience – Thanks to Shijo V Thomas at iCare Kottayam 🙌 I had an issue with my iPhone camera — just a black screen. At that time, I had AppleCare+, so I went to an Apple Authorised Service Provider in Trivandrum (since I was studying there). But to my shock, they told me the phone would have to be sent to Bangalore and would take 15 to 21 days to fix. They didn’t offer on-site repair, even with AppleCare+! Or I had to pay ₹21,000 to get it fixed locally. Back then, I didn’t know about iCare Kottayam. Later, I also purchased Onsitego, a third-party insurance plan. When I finally reached iCare Kottayam, I met Shijo V Thomas — and honestly, he changed the whole experience for me. He patiently explained every single detail and suggested that I go ahead with the Onsitego claim. I was nervous because Onsitego usually picks up the phone from your home and takes it elsewhere for repair. But Shijo assured me that Onsitego would deliver the device to iCare Kottayam itself — so it would still be in safe hands. I trusted his advice. The very next day, the Onsitego team picked up the phone. Yes, there was a small delay and I got a bit panicked, but Shijo was always available to take my calls, explain the status, and calm my worries. And just like he promised, the phone was delivered to iCare Kottayam — and they fixed it in just 3 days! They ordered the part, completed the repair, and gave me the phone in perfect condition. Meanwhile, the Trivandrum provider had said it would take 21 days and would be shipped off to Bangalore. I can confidently say: This was the best Apple service experience I’ve ever had. Professional, honest, and incredibly fast. All thanks to Shijo V Thomas and the amazing team at iCare Kottayam. If you're anywhere nearby and need Apple service — this is the place you can trust blindly.
